WSC Commissioner Jerry White

Western State Conference Commissioner Jerry White begins his ninth season in charge of the largest California Community College Athletic Association conference. In his previous eight years at the helm, he has helped oversee massive growth in the WSC including the addition of two more members in 2016-2017 in the form of Barstow College and Victor Valley College. Along with his duties with the WSC, White served seven years on the CCCAA Management Council as the Conference Commissioners representative, and currently serves on the CCCAA Board. Prior to becoming the commissioner of the WSC, White spent 45 years as an educator in the community college system at both Moorpark College and Oxnard College. White served as Head Baseball Coach at both institutions and also served as the Athletic Director for Oxnard College. White was also an accomplished NCAA Division I Men's Basketball referee, serving as an official for 37 years.
