One win is hard enough, but two in one day – that's worth writing home about.
The Moorpark softball team moved to 5-3 overall Saturday after a 12-3 win over LA Mission, and a 5-1 win over Santa Ana at home.
The back-to-back victories gives the Raiders three straight wins.
Sierra Huerta hit a home run in each game, and totaled six RBI for the day. Aubrey Sutherland led the weekend with five total hits, a team-high.
Kylee Beccari pitched two innings in each game, striking out four, while Phoebe Jackels pitched a total of seven innings over the weekend with four strike outs herself.
