BRITTON REMAINS UNDEFEATED, MARAUDER WOMEN'S TENNIS TEAM DROPS CLOSE MATCH TO BAKERSFIELD

LANCASTER - Karly Britton extended her undefeated singles' match streak to four with an easy vicotry against Bakersfield College's Brittant Aguilar, 6-2, 6-2, but the Marauder women's tennis team dropped its third consecutive match losing to the Renegades, 5-4, Thursday afternoon.
Both team split the singles' matches each winning three, however, it was Bakersfield which took took of three doubles' matches claiming the one-point victory.
Britton (4-0) and teammate Karlie Heckenliable dominated their doubles' match by defeating the Renegades, 8-0. Heckenliable easily defeated Bakersfield's Ashley Guillen, 6-1, 6-2, scoring a point for the Marauders.
Nina Nguimzon won her singles' match defeating Andrea Lopez, 6-3, 6-4. AVC was dominated in its other matches, the closest to winning its fifth match when Celsea McGrew lost a close one to Bakersfield's Riley Tucker, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
