In their ninth game of the year and their seventh win, the MiraCosta women's basketball team got the job done against the visiting LA Pierce College Brahmas.  The final score of the game was 82-57 improving MiraCosta's record to 7-2 overall.  Freshman Britney Jarvis led the way scoring 21 points. Teya Searles and Tervetta McGee added 16 and 15 respectively.  Colleen Murphy scored 10 points and provided a rebounding presence for Spartans.

The Spartans scored 27 points in both the first and third quarters and held Pierce to only 26 second half points.

MiraCosta is next in action on Monday December 18th in the 2nd annual Coast Classic basketball tournament.
