LANCASTER - The Marauder baseball team earned its first conference victory of the season as it hung on with an 8-7 victory over Victor Valley College, Saturday afternoon at Marauder Stadium.
The Marauders scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a seemingly commanding 6-0 lead.
Anthony Parisi who has been on fire his last four games was 3-for-5 with two runs scored for AVC. Parisi is hitting .500 (8-for-16) during those last four games.
The victory snapped AVC's four-game losing streak.
