The Santa Monica College Women's Basketball team lost a second round game in the Annual Sisterhood Tournament at Pasadena City College.
The Corsairs led at half time 48-42 at the half but faltered down the stretch giving Palo Verde College the victory.
SMC freshman Guard Maya Stokes (Windward High) set a tournament record in the game with 49 points. She also had 10 rebounds for the Corsairs.
KJ Hudson (Santa Monica High) also had a good game for the Corsairs with 16 points and 6 rebounds.
