No. 7 Men’s Volleyball Gets the Victory at No. 9 Santa Barbara, 3-1

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Warriors continue to extend their win streak and advance 3-3 after winning at Santa Barbara College 3-1. The No. 9 Vaqueros took the 1st set 27-25 and the No. 7 Warriors came back to take the last three 26-24, 25-20, and 25-16.

The Vaqueros were leading in the second 24-23 but the officials called a block by the Warriors to give them the point. Max Perez closed out the set with two consecutive aces for the Warriors' win. The following set saw the Vaqueros take the lead various times but the Warriors continued to fight to eventually take the third set as well and the fourth.

PJ Tulikihihifo led the Warriors offensively with 18 kills throughout the night, his highest record in the season thus far. Cesar Medina was behind him in kills with 13. Jason Carroll logged 12 digs and Malaki Tauiliili 10 with Victor Villarreal leading in blocks (6).

The Warriors next face Moorpark at home on Wednesday, March 1st.
