In both games, against Glendale and Citrus, each team scored four runs in the top of the 10th inning to secure the victory.
Ethan Avant hit his team-leading third home run of the season in the bottom of the fifth inning giving the Marauders a 5-2 lead. Jorge Villalobos hit a two-run single in the bottom of the second inning which gave AVC an early 3-0 lead. Villalobos finished the game 3-for-5 with two RBI.
"It was just an untimely error that hurt us. It's little mistakes that we're making that are costing us the games," AVC's Daniel Gomez said. "We just have to have confidence. We have to grind every game."
Gomez had an RBI single in the first inning and teammate Anthony Parisi was 2-for-2 on the afternoon.
