MARAUDER SOFTBALL POUNDS GLENDALE

LANCASTER - Taylor Roberts pounded two home runs and drove in six runs to lead the Marauder softball to a convincing 24-1 victory over Glendale at Marauder Stadium.
AVC had 21 hits on the afternoon, and nine players had multiple hits. The Marauders hit a total of five home runs and scored 13 runs in the bottom of the first inning which last about 40 minutes.
"I felt really good at the pitch and on the mound. My team did a really good job and the whole team hit the ball very well. Overall we smashed the ball against them," Roberts said. "We didn't have our best hitting gamed against COC. The way we hit the ball on Saturday and Tuesday. If we continue to hit the ball like this there is no team that can out play us."
Alexis Robles was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Krystan Cook and Ashley Fiorelli combined to go 5-for-6 with six RBI and four runs scored. Samantha and Sara Weiser each had three RBI and Weiser scored four runs.
Roberts pitched three full innings allowing only one hit and striking out three. She gave way to Cook who finished the game with two innings pitched allowing only one run.
