MARAUDER SOFTBALL FILLS UP STAT SHEETS WITH EASY VICTORY AGAINST VICTOR VALLEY

LANCASTER - The Marauder softball team pounded out 15 hits and scored 22 runs to easily defeat Victor Valley on Tuesday, 22-0, to extend its winning streak to six games and 10 of its last 11.
Taylor Roberts hit her ninth home run of the season and he collected four more RBI to put her total at 35. She ranks second in the state in both categories. She also pitched four solid innings to earn her 11th victory of the season, ranking her number three in the state.
As a team AVC ranks No. 2 in home runs, No. 3 in runs scored and No. 5 in RBI. Tuesday's victory was the sixth time the Marauders have scored 10 or more runs.
Isabelle Gomez was 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored. Katie and Sara Weiser combined to go 3-for-4 with six RBI and three runs scored. AVC scored at least two runs in every inning before the game was called because of the mercy rule.
