GLENDORA - The Marauder softball team won its seventh game in a row following a 4-3 victory over Citrus, Thursday afternoon.
AVC had only five hits, but the offensive spark was provided by Ashley Fiorelli who was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Firorelli homered in the fifth inning giving the Marauders a 2-0 lead. Fiorelli gave AVC a 4-0 lead following a single to center which scored Aricka Price.
The Marauders have won 11 of their last 12 games.
Taylor Roberts pitched a complete game allowing only five hits and two earned runs. Roberts also had an RBI double in the top of the sixth inning. Citrus rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning, however, AVC was able to put the game away,
