For the second straight year, the Los Angeles Valley College Men's Water Polo team carried the top two awards in the Western State Conference for the second straight year. Head Coach Jim McMillen earned his fourth overall Coach of the Year honors, while sophomore Arman Momdzhyan was named the Player of the Year.
Momdzhyan capped off his two year career in impressive fashion by helping lead the Monarchs to a third place finish in Southern California and first place finish in WSC play. Momdzhyan was the conferences leading scorer at five goals a game, second in assists per game at 2.8, and third in steals per game at 2.7.
