The West Los Angeles College Women's Track & Field team three-peated this past weekend at Ventura College, while the Glendale College Men's Track & Field squad pulled off a back-to-back performance. For West LA, they got a well rounded effort that saw them tally 152 points, 37 points ahead of second place Ventura College. The Wildcats picked up four gold medals on the weekend, with Brenda Rosales-Coria being responsible for two with wins in the 1500m Run (4:51.14) and the 5000m Run (18:31.86). West LA especially picked up valuable points in the 1500m Run where they took three of the top four spots. The Wildcats rounded out the weekend when Jada Jenkins, Odiri Ntekume, Andrea Gonzalez Macias, Ellie Koncki teamed up to win the 4x400 Relay with a time of 4:02.38.

When it came to the Glendale men, the Vaqueros did what they do best which is dominate the distance events. It started in the 1500m Run where Paulo Vazquez bested the group with a time of 4:01.33. Sitting behind him though were three Vaqueros who helped pick up a total of 29 points in the one race alone. After finishing fourth in that event, Raymond Lopez helped slam the door for Glendale with wins in the 5000m Run (15:02.86) and the 10000m Run (32:09.20). It would be just enough as Glendale edged second place West Los Angeles College 112-110.
