
Men's Soccer: Baro Pushes Bulldogs Past Pierce with Two Goal Showing

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Sophomore midfielder, Joe Baro, pushed the Allan Hancock College men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory in a conference showdown at home against LA Pierce College on Tuesday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
With the win, Hancock moves to a 7-11-2 overall record while the Brahmas fall to 4-13 on the season. Both programs hold a 2-7 record in the Western State Conference (North) and are currently tied for fourth in the league standings.
Baro's first goal of the game came in the 26th minute after a successful penalty kick attempt. He netted a second shot, and fifth overall on the season in the 47th with an assist from Eddie Garces.
Max Brewster picked up the win after collecting seven saves while serving the home squad in the box for 90 minutes.
The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Friday, November 15th, for the regular season finale against Moorpark College. The event, which will serve as the team's Sophomore Day, is set to begin at 3 PM on the AHC Soccer Field.
