LANCASTER - Katie Arnold scored two goals and Rielly Rasmussen and Shierly Gomez each scored a goal as the Marauder women's soccer team had no problems with visiting Oxnard College Friday evening at Marauder Stadium.
AVC improved its record to 4-1. In those four victories the Marauders have outscored their opponents 21-1 while registering three shutouts. Their lone loss came against Pierce College, 3-0, to the Brahmas.
"I am happy with the team's progress," AVC head coach Charles Gordon said.
It was Rasmussen's fourth goal of the season for AVC, which scored three second half goals, ranking her tied for 19th in the state. Cindy Martin added two assists for the Marauders.
