Raygoza Named Player of the Year; Perez and Ruiz Split Coach of the Year Honors

Los Angeles Pierce College sophomore Desiree Raygoza was named the Western State Conference North Division Player of the Year. In the Coach of the Year Race, Pierce Head Coach Adolfo Perez and Moorpark College’s Miguel Ruiz split the honors.

Kneisel and Lundin Go Back to Back

For the second consecutive year, College of the Canyons’ Marissa Kneisel and Head Coach Justin Lundin were given the top awards in the Western State Conference South Division. Kneisel is just the fourth athlete in WSC history to win the Player of the Year award in back to back seasons, while it’s the first time ever that both player and coach have repeated at the same time.
