The doubles team of Juliana Nelkin and Kaori Tsuda ended up with a runner-up finish at the 2013 California Community College Athletic Association Women’s State Doubles Championships recently. Nelkin and Tsuda lost in the State Finals 6-4 and 7-5.

Santa Barbara City College’s Freshman Bruna Magalhaes won the 2013 California Community College Athletic Association Women’s State Singles Title recently. It is the first State Singles Title by a Vaquero in the Women’s Tennis Program history.
