LANCASTER - The Marauder men's soccer team concluded its three-game home stretch Tuesday afternoon with a 2-1 victory over College of the Sequoias.
Jose Mojica scored two first-half goals and leads the state with 12 on the season.
The Marauders (4-2-2) finished their home stand with a 2-0-1 record with victories against COS and Consumnes River College and a tie with Pasadena City College.
Mojica's first goal came at 18:17 in the first half, assisted by Matthew Fletes. Fletes has a goal and two assists in his last two games and ranks sixth in the state in assists. The second goal came from a penalty kick which Mojica punched into the net at 25:01.
AVC travels to Chaffey College on Friday.
