Cuesta College swept the 2016 All-Western State Conference North Division awards after claiming it's 17th overall WSC title. Sophomore outfielder Dustin Miller was named the Player of the Year, sophomore right hander Louis Raymond was named the Pitcher of the Year, and last but not least Head Coach Bob Miller the Coach of the Year.

In 23 conference games, Dustin Miller hit .362, scoring 24 runs, and driving in 15 RBIs. Miller hit four doubles, four triples, and a home run. Miller also stole four bases, had 47 putouts and committed just one error in the field for a .979 fielding percentage.

Raymond meanwhile made eight appearances in WSC North play, all eight coming as starts. Raymond was a perfect 6-0, pitching 55.2 innings, including one complete game. Raymond posted a 0.81 ERA, fanned 54 batters, and gave up just seven walks.

For Bob Miller it's the fifth time he's been named the WSC North Coach of the Year and the first since 2013. The Cougars were 18-6 in WSC North play in 2016, winning the conference title by two games.
