Santa Barbara Women and Cuesta Men are WSC Champs

The Santa Barbara City College Women's Swim team wrapped up their fourth straight WSC Swimming Championship recently. The Vaqueros made it their fourth title in their fifth year in their vaunted early program history. The Cuesta College men meanwhile snapped a four-year winning streak by Ventura College, and their first since 2013.

The Vaqueros posted their slimes margin of victory of their last four conference titles with a total of 626 points on the weekend, besting second place Bakersfield College by 91 points. Cuesta meanwhile just outlasted Santa Monica College 638.5 points to the Corsairs 609. The Cougars wrapped up the weekend with a dominating three second victory in the 400 Yard Free Relay to keep Santa Monica in the runner-up spot for the second straight year.
