The Moorpark College men's track and field team was extraordinary at the Western State Conference finals this past weekend. The Raiders finished atop the field of 11 teams with 186 points, followed by Bakersfield (130) and West LA (124).
The WSC Championships is the culmination of a two-day championship event, in which the top eight athletes in each event score points for their team, and the top seven automatically qualify for the Southern California Regional Championships. MC took the top place in six events over the course of the championship showdown while seeing 34 individuals advance to the SoCal meet in 60 events.
- Five individual Raiders and one relay team were crowned WSC Champions for the men's program:
Men's 4x100m Relay (Will Davis, Colin Quinn, Jahbari Fraser, Nicholas Balint) - Will Davis in the 100m (10.62 - PR)
- Nicholas Balint in the 200m (21.91 – PR)
- Johnny Slone in the 5K (15:21)
