After winning their first ever Western State Conference team championship in 2015, the Glendale College Women's Tennis team repeated in 2016, going back to back in their Western State Conference Championships.

 The Vaqueros went a perfect 10-0 in WSC play, defeating Santa Barbara City College in the final match of the 2016 regular and conference season to clinch the second straight title.

Glendale would go on to earn the #2 overall seed in the 2016 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Team Playoffs, defeating Grossmont 5-0 in the first round before falling to #5 seed College of the Desert in the regional semi-finals. The Vaqueros finished their 2016 season 15-4 overall.

Santa Barbara City College, who took Glendale to the wire last season as well, finished in second place.
