OCAAA Hall of Fame Banquet Honors Class of 2024
The Oxnard College Athletic Alumni Association (OCAAA) proudly announced the induction of three exceptional individuals into the OCAAA Hall of Fame. The Class of 2024 included Marti Dibble, Tenley Garcia, and Jon Larson. The 3rd Annual Hall of Fame event last Saturday, May 11th was a big hit. | ORIGINAL RELEASE
The event drew many former student-athletes and OC Athletic stakeholders, as they spoke about their journeys, achievements, and contributions to the Department.
The inductees were introduced by former head men's and women's XC coach, Geno Sharp (via video), former women's head soccer coach, Mike Scanlon, and former head assistant baseball coach, Roger Frash. Each one of them spoke about the incredible contributions Marti, Tenley, and Jon made to Oxnard College.
Each inductee shared stories about the resounding impact playing and working at OC made on their lives. An overarching theme shared by the group was the close family atmosphere OC is known for. "Once a Condor, always a Condor" rang true for this group of over 90 people who gathered in the PAB Conference Center to celebrate three remarkable individuals.
