It took the Cougar women a while to get warmed up during their match against Cuesta in San Luis Obispo but when they did it was a blur.
"We didn't score until the 73rd minute," head coach Myisha Cutrona said. "But when we got going it was just goal after goal after goal after goal."
After Christina Salazar knocked in a ricochet off a Joanna Espinoza shot the Cougars went on a spree.
"After that goal we scored again in the 79th minute, the 81st minute and the 83rd minute," Cutrona said.
The scoring spree was a relief.
"I don't know what it is, but it takes us so long to get going. It's driving me crazy. I told them we can't do that against really good teams, that it's going to hurt us."
