VC Men Make it 10 of 11 w/ 2016 WSC Title

The Ventura College Men's Tennis team claimed their 10th WSC Championship in the last 11 years.
The Ventura College Men's Tennis team claimed their 10th WSC Championship in the last 11 years.

The Ventura College Men's Tennis team claimed their 10th title in the last 11 seasons during their 2016 Western State Conference campaign. The Pirates clinched the championships and a perfect 8-0 conference mark with a 7-2 victory over Bakersfield, for their 15th conference championship in program history.

 The Pirates would go on to earn the #3 seed in the 2016 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Team Playoffs, defeating #5 Orange Coast College in the first round before eventually falling to #2 Cerritos College in the regional semi-finals. The Pirates finished their 2016 campaign 15-3 overall.

Santa Barbara City College, came back after a two-year absence from competition and finished in second place.
