The Cuesta College Men's Water Polo team took home the top awards in the Western State Conference this past season. Head Coach John Marsh was named the Coach of the Year and sophomore Jack Felsted was named the Player of the Year.

Marsh earned the honors for the seventh time in his career and the first time since 2012. He guided the Cougars to the 2019 WSC Championship title, avenging a regular season loss to LA Valley with a 10-9 victory over the Monarchs in the WSC Championship Tournament finale. They continued that trend on into the CCCAA Southern California Championships where they finished in 3rd place. The Cougars nearly knocked off #1 Long Beach City College falling 12-13 in sudden-death overtime, before rallying with a 11-9 win over LA Valley in the 3rd place.

Felsted led the offensive threat for Cuesta this past year. He scored a team high 78 goals from the 2M spot. His goal total was tied for the second most in the WSC and 21st in the entire State. Felsted also had a pair of assists, 18 steals, 32 exclusions drawn, and five field blocks.
