The Los Angeles Pierce College Women's Soccer team claimed its third conference championship in the last four years in 2016. The Brahmas won their final three games to hold off Santa Monica College.

It was the 11th overall WSC title for Los Angeles Pierce College in it's program's history. After dropping the conference opener to the aforementioned Corsairs, LA Pierce finished out WSC South play 6-0-1. After that opening loss, the Brahmas won their next three contests by a combined score of 14-1.

In their next meeting with Santa Monica on their home field, LA Pierce managed a 1-1 tie with the Corsairs, which gave Pierce a two point lead headed into the home stretch thanks to a Santa Monica loss at LA Valley and scoreless tie at West LA. Both teams would win out to close out their conference campaigns, and the Brahmas' two-point lead would hold.
