The Bakersfield College Men's Basketball team clinched an outright Western State Conference South Division Championship on Wednesday evening. The Renegades did so thanks to a 82-57 win over West Los Angeles College at home on the night.

It's the 4th WSC Championship for Bakersfield College overall and their first since the 2006-2007 season. That year, the Renegades went 30-3 overall and 11-1 in WSC South play, sharing the conference title with College of the Canyons. It's their first outright conference championship since the 1997-1998 season when Bakersfield was 31-4 overall and 9-1 in conference play.

Bakersfield will close out the regular season on Saturday at Santa Monica at 5PM.
