Johansson Leads Women’s Golf Post-Season Awards

Santa Barbara City College's Fanny Johansson capped off an impressive 2013 campaign this past weekend by being named the Western State Conference Player of the Year. The Winner of the 2013 WSC Championship and 2013 CCCAA State Championship, Johansson had the lowest average per round in the conference at 77.5. In addition Johansson was named to the All-State.

In addition to Johansson being named the WSC Player of the Year, Santa Barbara Head Coach Chuck Melendez was tagged as the Coach of the Year. Melendez led the Vaqueros to their first conference title in five years, and then proceeded to guide them to the 2013 Southern California and State Championships
