Five Schools to Represent WSC in CCCAA Post-Season

A total of five teams from the Western State Conference will be representing the WSC in the upcoming California Community College Athletic Association Playoffs. Two teams from the WSC South and three teams from the WSC North all earned nods today.

WSC South Champion College of the Canyons led the pack as they drew the #4 seed. The Cougars will take on #13 Mt. San Antonio College at Canyons on Saturday. Second place WSC North finisher Ventura College, was the next highest seed, grabbing a #6 spot and getting the right to host #11 Orange Coast College.

WSC South second place finisher Citrus College was granted the #12 seed, and will travel to #5 San Diego Miramar College on Saturday. WSC North Champion, Los Angeles Pierce College was seeded #14 and will travel to #3 San Bernardino Valley College also on Saturday. #15 Santa Barbara City College was the last WSC school in, and will host #18 Mt. San Jacinto College on Thursday for a play-in game and the right to travel to #2 Santiago Canyon College on Saturday.
