2013 Western State Conference Cross Country Headlines
The Glendale College Women’s Cross Country program continued their domination of the Western State Conference, and the College of the Canyons Men’s Cross Country program handed the Glendale men a stunning defeat this past weekend at the 2013 Western State Conference Championships.
Glendale College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country programs paced the Western State Conference effort at this past weekend’s Southern California Championships hosted by College of the Canyons. The Vaquero women had the highest WSC team finish in 2nd place, and the men had the highest WSC team finish with 7th place.
The 2013 Western State Conference Preview was held recently at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura, CA. The Glendale College Men’s and Women’s teams swept the races, winning both team events.
The Glendale College Women’s Cross Country program had the highest WSC finish at the 2013 CCCAA State Championships recently, as the Vaqueros finished 2nd. On the men’s side it was College of the Canyons who came in 9th overall.
