The College of the Canyons Women and the Santa Barbara City College Men won their respective 2015 Western State Conference Track and Field Team Championships. It's the first conference championship for both the Vaqueros and the Cougars.
The College of the Canyons Men and the Glendale College Women claimed the 2014 Western State Conference Track and Field Team Championships at this past weekend’s 2014 Western State Conference Championships. The Cougars amassed 145 points, edging West Los Angeles College by six points, while the Vaqueros bested the Wildcat women by 14.25 with 168 points.
College of the Canyons’ Tim White took second place in the Triple Jump at the Pan American Junior Championships recently. White lost the title on a tie breaker with Cuba’s Lazaro Martinez in Medellin, Columbia.
The Glendale College Men’s Track and Field team along with the Moorpark College and West Los Angeles College Women were the top three teams for the Western State Conference at the recent 2013
Southern California Track and Field Championships. The Vaqueros finished 10th overall, while the Raiders and Wildcats tied for 4th place overall.
The Los Angeles Valley College Men’s Track and Field team and the Glendale College Women’s Track and Field team were the top scoring Western State Conference programs at the recent 2013 California Community College Athletic Association State Championships. LA Valley finished 14th, while Glendale finished 6th.
The Glendale College Men’s Track and Field team along with the West Los Angeles College Women’s Track and Field team recently won the Western State Conference team Championships. Glendale won with a total of 158.333 points, while West LA racked up 167 points.
