Women's Soccer: Six Teams Mentioned, Four Ranked, in Latest Top 20 Poll

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Six Western State Conference programs were mentioned in the latest edition of the CCCSIA Top 20 Poll, announced by the state office on Tuesday.

Despite falling one spot, Antelope Valley continues to lead both the league and the WSC South after collecting 53 points in the poll en route to a No. 14 ranking that they split with Fresno City. The Mauraders have shutout nine opponents through 14 contests on the season, ranking them fourth amongst all teams at the 3C2A level. Canyons jumped into the standings after previously being just outside the top-20, picking up the No. 19 position with 23 poll points.

For the WSC North, Allan Hancock held steady at No. 18 after collecting 26 points. Hancock's Cynthia Ramirez is ranked second in the state with 24 goals and 57 points on the season. LA Pierce fell four spots but remained ranked and is now tied with Reedley at No. 20. Santa Barbara and Ventura round out the WSC North representatives in the "others receiving votes" section.
