The doubles team of Juliana Nelkin and Kaori Tsuda ended up with a runner-up finish at the 2013 California Community College Athletic Association Women's State Doubles Championships recently. Nelkin and Tsuda lost in the State Finals 6-4 and 7-5.

Nelkin and Tsuda battled with Sarah Anderson and Victoria Vo of Fullerton College who wrapped up a solid week by taking the doubles title after helping the Hornets to the State Team Championship. Nelkin and Tsuda were rewarded with All-Western State Conference honors for their efforts throughout the week.
