For the fifth straight year, the Santa Barbara City College Volleyball team claimed the Western State Conference North Division Championship. The Vaqueros did so yet again with an unblemished conference record at 8-0, earning their 13th overall WSC Championship. 

 Santa Barbara was pushed up until nearly the very end by Moorpark College, who the Vaqueros played in their second to last contest of the year. That was the night Santa Barbara claimed an outright title holding off the Raiders in five grueling sets on Friday November 11th. In that match, the Vaqueros won the fifth and final set 18-16, and got 23 kills from Shannon Friend. Setter Kiana Pisula added 43 assists and 19 digs. Santa Barbara would wrap up the undefeated conference mark the following Wednesday with a sweep of Allan Hancock College. ​
