Los Angeles Pierce College, which has been a women's volleyball powerhouse in the Western State Conference for the last two decades, continued it's strong tradition by winning the inaugural Western State Conference East Division crown. The Brahmas won their WSC leading 15th overall conference title and their second straight after claiming a co-championship in the WSC North last year.

Pierce officially clinched an outright championship on Friday November 11th, when they swept second place Victor Valley College. The Brahmas would close out a perfect WSC East record the following week when they swept Glendale College to close out their 2016 conference slate to finish 8-0.
