Andrulis, Bagdasar, & Gover of Santa Barbara Take Home WSC North Top Nods

Santa Barbara City College freshman outside hitter Carolyn Andrulis, freshman libero Claire Bagdasar, and Head Coach Ed Over took home the top nods from the Western State Conference North Division. Andrulis was named the Player of the Year, becoming the fifth straight Vaquero to earn the award, Bagdasar was named the WSC North's first ever Libero of the Year, while Gover took home his sixth overall Coach of the Year award and fourth in the last five years. 

Andrulis helped pace a Santa Barbara team that finished 23-3 in the regular season and 8-0 in WSC North play. Andrulis was second on the team with 257 kills, and was second on the team with 259 digs. Andrulis also proved to be fearsome on the defensive side of the net with 38 total blocks, and an accurate server with 29 aces on the season. Bagdasar was the Vaquero leader in digs with 306 on the season. Bagdasar averaged 3.44 digs per set, and added 33 service aces, the second most on the Santa Barbara team.

Gover, continued to keep the Vaqueros on the top of the list in Southern California Volleyball. Gover guided Santa Barbara to their third straight 20 plus win season and their sixth in his 26 year career. The Vaqueros also won their fifth straight WSC North crown.
