Citrus & West LA Split WSC South Men's Basketball Crown

Citrus College and West LA College each earned a share of the 2023-24 Western State Conference (South) men's basketball title after posting 12-2 records against league foes throughout the regular season. 

The Owls secured their piece of the puzzle in a must-win showdown against West LA in the regular season finale, clinching their sixth title in seven seasons and 10th in program history. The Wildcats locked in at least a share with one game to spare in the regular season for the 5th time in program history. Both programs suffered one loss to each other and one to Antelope Valley College during the conference slate. | FULL HISTORY

Both teams have advanced to the Southern California Regional Tournament with West LA taking the No. 5 seed ahead of Citrus who picked up the No. 6 seed. Other WSC South teams set to appear in the playoffs are No. 13 Santa Monica, No. 23 Antelope Valley, and No. 24 Glendale. Regional play is set to begin on Wednesday, February 28th.
