Oxnard College Welcomes Alan Zaragoza as New Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach
Oxnard College Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Alan Zaragoza as the new assistant coach for the men's soccer program. Alan, a proud Oxnard native and alumnus of Oxnard College, brings a passion for the game and a deep commitment to the local community. | ORIGINAL RELEASE
Alan Zaragoza earned his Associate of Arts in Psychology from Oxnard College before transferring to California State University Channel Islands, where he completed his Bachelor's degree in Psychology. A lifelong learner, Alan plans to pursue graduate studies in the near future. Born and raised in Oxnard, Alan is the proud son of Mexican immigrants, and soccer has played a central role in his life since childhood.
"I'm thrilled to be back at Oxnard College, where my journey as both a student and athlete started. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, and I'm excited to help the Oxnard College Men's Soccer Team continue to grow and succeed," Zaragoza said. "I look forward to working with the student-athletes and being part of the Oxnard College family."
In his free time, Alan enjoys hiking with his dog, Canelo, and spending quality time with his family. As he embarks on this new role, Alan extends an invitation to the community to come out and support the team at their home games throughout the season.
