
Moorpark Women's Basketball Finishes Conference Slate Undefeated
MOORPARK, Calif. - Moorpark College secured a sixth-straight Western State Conference (North) crown for women's basketball after posting an undefeated 12-0 record against league foes in 2025. This also marks the third consecutive season in which the program has boasted a spotless conference record and is the 10th overall title in program history with previous nods coming in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2020, 2019, 1991, 1990, 1989, and 1988.
Moorpark officially celebrated their clinching of the crown after a 111-32 victory at home over Oxnard College on Sophomore Night. The Raiders used a 22-2 run at the end of the first quarter on the way to a 33-9 finish at the conclusion of the opening frame. The home quad's defense and run-and-gun style was relentless against the Condors as they forced them into 12 turnovers and a 65-18 halftime score. The second half was more of the same which ended with 31 Oxnard turnovers that led to 58 points for MC.
Coach Plummer's crew finished out the regular season just a few days later with a 102-37 victory against LA Mission College on the road.
The Raiders wrapped up regular season action with an overall record of 24-4 to go along with a 17-game winning streak. They earned an automatic spot in the postseason bracket and were tabbed as the No. 3 seed in the Southern California Regional Tournament. Other WSC North members to earn postseason appearances are No. 11 Santa Barbara City and No. 20 Cuesta.
