Women's Volleyball: Five WSC Programs Remain Ranked in Latest Coaches' Poll

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Five Western State Conference women's volleyball programs remained ranked in the latest edition of the CCCWVCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, announced by the state office on Monday afternoon.

For the WSC North, Ventura held steady as the No. 9 ranked team after a pair of victories led them to wins in 10 of their last 11 matches. Moorpark and Santa Barbara both fell one spot each and landed at No. 19 and No. 25, respectively.

For the WSC South, Santa Monica led the pack after jumping three slots to No. 20. The Corsairs swept ELAC in a non-conference match last week before pulling off a sweep over Glendale. Bakersfield made the largest climb for the league by moving up four spots to No. 21 after the Renegades picked up their fifth consecutive victory.

Bakersfield currently leads the South with a spotless 5-0 record while Moorpark, Ventura, and Santa Barbara are all even with 4-1 league marks for the North.
